The pace here is friendly yet brisk, reflecting the steady stream of locals and visitors who come in search of a satisfying, honest meal without ceremony.
The atmosphere feels like a well-loved neighborhood nook—not so much a destination for formal dining, but rather a place to drop in, find comfort in a steaming bowl, and watch the fascinating dance of noodle making happening just behind the counter. The staff’s easygoing warmth adds a layer of genuine hospitality that’s palpable, especially when you catch the flour-dusted hands stretching dough or the soft clatter of bamboo steamers being lifted.
Eating here is a quiet discovery of textures and flavors that seem to unfold gradually. Whether it’s the tender bite of hand-pulled noodles swimming in a rich broth, the delicate yin and yang of juicy steamed buns, or the subtle heat and depth coming from chili-oil-drizzled slices of beef, each dish reveals a part of the culinary story. The menu surprises gently with components like braised tofu and vibrant vegetable dishes alongside heartier, meat-centric plates, offering something for those who seek balance as well as for those who crave indulgence.
What makes the experience at Noodles and Dumplings genuinely memorable is the sense of connection—to the food, the people preparing it, and the small but lively community that gathers here. It’s a space that invites repeat visits, where the familiar flavors and friendly smiles create a quiet comfort, especially on colder days when a hot bowl feels like a small, meaningful refuge.

This is my favourite noodle spot in Glasgow, well in Scotland quite possibly. The fresh hand stretched noodles are phenomenal. Have had a few visits here and have never been disappointed, food is fresh and tasty. I love going and trying more of the menu. I am a big dumpling lover too and the long dumplings in here are some of my favourite. Fantastic quality and price

Walked in on a cold November day on a whim, and was rewarded with fantastic generous portion of delicious garlic beef flank noodles. Reasonable prices, lightning fast service, overall a great place for Chinese food

As a Chinese person who grew up in NYC with a chef for a dad......my standards for Chinese food are set super high. Everything we ordered came out made to perfection. The staff was so nice too and the man making the fresh noodles put on a show for my wee boy who was mesmerised. I'm still thinking about that perfect bowl of noodles and can't wait to go back.

Good noodles, good value. Busy shop and sometimes you have to eat and go which is something to bear in mind. Soup noodles with intestines were good and well flavoured and seasoned. Would like to see some different shapes of noodles being offered e.g. flat knife cut but was just given the thin round shape which can be bit soft for my liking. We got 3 mains and a side of tea egg for around £32 ish or so. Sweet and sour (wasn't mine) was apparently average and a little too sour. Overall would recommend.

I’ve been to a ton of ramen places, and this place is the best. The noodles are so tender and full of flavor from the broth. The meat is delicate and melts in your mouth. The tea hit the spot after walking around town in the cold. 11/10 amazing little place. Highly recommend. CASH ONLY
